Cheney, Off His Feed, Eats 1st Amendment!
"What I find most disturbing about these stories is the fact that some of the news media take it upon themselves to disclose vital national security programs, thereby making it more difficult for us to prevent future attacks against the American people," Mr. Cheney said, in impromptu remarks at a fund-raising luncheon for a Republican Congressional candidate in Chicago. "That offends me."

Personally, I've never been a fan of "we're doing this in secret but we have secret oversight, so don't worry." My primary problem with secret protections is that you have no way of knowing when those protections get weaker or change. All-in-all, these programs are like buying a used car, getting a bill you have to pay filled with blacked out lines, and hearing, "it's all stuff you need, trust me." Seeing that politicians actually rank below used-car salesmen on the "trust-o-meter" maybe I've just slighted the salesmen.
