Just Win, Baby
The Dems don't get it. There are few things as insular as national politics and the recent crop of "leaders" are going to prove that to all of us. As unpopular as the Iraq war is Americans do not like to lose. Clearly, to pull out now would be to embrace defeat and accept a loss. Why the Democrats think this is a winning policy is beyond me. They are struggling to herd their cats on this issue because the rank and file know their leadership is wrong. But as the recent despicable catering to unions showed the Dems have some debts to pay...integrity be damned. That's why they will work against American sentiment in an attempt to appease the big money of the Soros set. Its all very sad, but completely predictable. I just don't know how Nancy is going to be able to look Al in the eye the next time he comes for subsidies to keep the Raiders in the Bay area.

This ain't 6 years ago baby. Claiming to be "winners" in the face of all evidence can fool people for a bit of time but after a couple of 4-12 seasons, fans of other teams start mocking you, your own fans get restless, you start firing guys just to show you're doing something and no serious people want to work for you. Next thing you know its the 2006 midterms and Nancy Pelosi is bitch slapping James Inhofe.
Giving Bush his due, he sees the world in clear Reaganesque terms, and that ain't nothing but its not enough. Part of leadership is management and this is the CEO's who ran their companies into the ground yet received generous compensation packages because they stacked the Board Presidency. Bush has chosen to bet his legacy on one big hand (or the vertical pass) rather than carefully playing the dozens of hands (or ball control offense) that wins champaionships. I am now out of metaphors.
The "Gatorade" that "killed" "George Allen"? Macaca.
Thank you, bloggers.
